Warranty Coverage: Physical Damage & Customer Responsibility
For damages occurring to external components or housing where the customer is found at fault, the following terms and deadlines apply to maintain warranty eligibility.
-
Reporting & Pre-Approval Process: To ensure the safety of our technicians and the feasibility of the repair, a mandatory pre-assessment must be completed before any unit is shipped.
- Initial Notification: The customer must contact Bedrock Battery to report damage no later than 5 business days after the incident.
- Required Documentation: Upon reporting, the customer must provide: (i) Detailed Incident Report: A written explanation of what caused the damage and how the incident occurred. (ii) Visual Evidence: Clear, high-resolution photographs of the specific damage and the entire unit from multiple angles. (iii) Identification: The Serial Number of the unit for warranty verification.
- Pre-Shipping Assessment: Bedrock Battery will review the report and photos to determine if the unit is repairable. Do not ship the unit until you have received written authorization from our team.
-
Shipping & Arrival Deadlines: Arrival at Facility: Once authorized, the unit must be received at our authorized repair facility within 30 days of the initial incident. It is the customer's responsibility to select a shipping method that ensures arrival within this window. Note: Failure to meet the 5-day reporting window, provide the required documentation/incident report, or ensure the unit arrives within 30 days will result in the immediate termination of the product's warranty.
-
Repair Costs & Logistics:
- Customer Liability: The customer is responsible for the full cost of repairs required to restore the safety and functionality of the unit.
- Financial Responsibility: All expenses—including parts, labor, and round-trip shipping—are the sole responsibility of the customer.
-
Final Safety Evaluations:
- Unsafe Damage: If a unit is determined to be structurally or operationally unsafe or beyond repair based on the provided report, photos, or physical inspection, the repair will be denied.
- Termination: If a unit is deemed hazardous or unrepairable, the warranty will be terminated immediately to ensure safety compliance and prevent the use of compromised equipment.
